About The Event
Join us under the glow of the Sturgeon Moon for an evening of ceremony, connection, and reflection. The August full moon, which is originally named named for the ancient sturgeon whose abundance fed native communities through the late summer is a reminder to pause, celebrate, and give thanks for all we have cultivated, both within ourselves and in our world.
This month, we gather in sacred circle to honour the theme of abundance and growth. As the summer begins its gentle turn toward autumn, the Sturgeon Moon invites us to notice and appreciate the “harvests” in our own lives—be they gardens, friendships, creative projects, or personal healing.
You are invited to bring something you have grown this year. This could be a literal offering—flowers, fruit, herbs from your garden—or something deeply personal and symbolic: a poem, a journal entry, a piece of art, a new habit, or a story of…
